The valley of the shadow of death, the fiery furnace, the night seasons, these are all things that many of the guests on our show have told us about in past episodes. And while the themes often repeat, the stories are always so very different. Today we ask the question: what is it like to go from enjoying over 50 years of good health finding out that you have cancer during a routine surgery to repair a straight forward injury?Today’s Guest, Bob Thomson, was a successful Environmental Lawyer, an elder at Beverly Heights Presbyterian Church and the father of 5 when his life turned upside down after a surgery to repair his Rotator Cuff revealed that he had stage four Lymphoma. That was the start of a 10-year journey that tested Bob’s physical limits and pushed the boundaries of his faith into new territory. So join Tom, Nate and Bob as they go through his journey before, during and after his battle with cancer and what he learned in the midst of the fire. Welcome to another episode of the Scattered Seeds Podcast, where every life has as story.
