For many of us the last two years have been the most difficult we’ve ever lived through. A global pandemic, racial tension, political unrest, it seems like there’s a new disaster ever looming on the horizon. And while we hear about the front lines of the medical fields and science, the spiritual frontlines aren’t as often spoken about. It’s not an easy thing when those you’ve ministered too, and worked beside become strangers seemingly overnight. Today’s guest, Charlie Cotherman is a pastor to pastors, and part of the Grove City’s Rural Ministry Project. And he shared what the recent months have been like for the pastors he works with, as well as his own church plant in Oil City. So join Tom, Nate and Charlie as they discuss his faith journey up to and through being a pastor in a pandemic. But first a word from our sponsors: a past guest on our show, David Ayers, recently did a series of video lectures on Christian Marriage at Grove City College. You may subscribe to and access “Great Lectures from the Grove” at the Grove City College YouTube Channel. We’re glad to have you back for this week’s episode on the show where every life, has a story.
