Firdose is a South African of Indian descent, deeply devoted to the practice, teaching, and research of yoga. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral work titled "Yoga, Politics, and Possibilities for Social Justice" at the University of Cape Town, reflecting her unwavering commitment to advancing knowledge in this field.
Having earned an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, her academic accomplishments have further fortified her expertise in the subject matter. Additionally, she holds the esteemed designation of being a registered E-RYT500 teacher with Yoga Alliance, exemplifying her extensive training and experience in yoga instruction.
As a yoga teacher, her style is deeply rooted in historical knowledge, cultural experiences, and socio-political curiosity.
