Father Ben, Pastor at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and School in Savage MN takes some time to reflect on Pope Emeritus Benedict. Father Ben will introduce the homily from January 1 where he shared a reflection, then take some time to go further.
Pope Emeritus Benedict was what Father Ben called the "Pope of his Seminary year" and was a true Father to him in so many ways. His passing was felt deeply by many, including Father Ben.
