Do we really fully understand why we celebrate the 4th of July? Do we know the years of oppression imposed upon the Colonists by Britain? What had the Colonists endured the years leading up to the drafting and submission of the Declaration of Independence? Freedom comes at a price, and our youth today has very little idea what it's all about.
