Okay,....go ahead and confess that you too watched Saturday Night Fever back in 1977. What in the hell were we thinking? It may well go down in history as one of the worst films ever produced. And it won awards! It made John Travolta and the Bee Gees famous. It served as the catalyst propelling the whole late 70's disco grave. Bad acting, poor lighting, terrible lines and wardrobes all blended in with a crapping story that was that was based on an article that was a total lie.
As for me,....I watched it because it showed titties. Yep, I said it, and so would had Lewis Grizzard. Hell, I bet Lewis Grizzard saw the movie more than once himself.
Fact of the matter is; folks that went to Disco's in the 70's are now all in their 70's. Did they really find this crap entertaining and fun? As for me and my buddies,....we only wanted to use our fake ID's and get into Whisky River in Macon. But that's another story all together.
