This is a two-parter!
Today we are talking about Laurie Dann, the Schoolhouse Killer. A Winneka, IL woman who, in 1988, went on a shooting spree, killing one eight-year-old student, Nick Corwin, and shooting others.
The poison in this episode is a Lemon Lavender Gin Rickey....if you want to drink with me. You will need gin, lemon juice, honey, seltzer water, and lavender.

Pour gin, lemon juice, and honey over ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well.
Strain into two glasses filled with ice and top with seltzer. Optional: Garnish the glass with a sprig of lavender and a slice of lemon, and voila!
