Send Lauren a text!

On this week's episode I will talk about what I am experiencing as the days of summer come to an end. This includes a mix of emotions as my kids get ready to return to school. I'll also share what I hear as a Licensed Professional Counselor at this time of year, which includes siblings arguing and fighting after spending  a lot of time together.  Kids are also having more meltdowns and acting out in irritability because of the anxiety they feel as they get ready to transition into a brand new school year.

I'll also talk about the importance of making time for ourselves to do the things we love. I'll tell you how I plan to savor these last dog days of summer. And I'll tell you why you should take time for yourself even if it feels like it's impossible to do. I'll give you some ideas for how you can do this, even if you're a parent of young children.

On this episode I mention the book Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach https://a.co/d/ee0rYcr
