Your first year or two in business is probably your most crucial because it can show you signs as to wheather it is going to fail, struggle or succeed. Most small businesses don't even last 5 years, and the best way to ensure you're business success is to take massive action -- especially in your first year of business.

One common thing that first year business owners have is the fact that they are always starting and stopping before actually gaining momentum in business. They are always focused on what everyone else is doing and trying to duplicate that or making unnecessary tweaks to drive people towards them (ie: changing their business name, updating their website) and just trying to make everything perfect.

But based on experience, perfection is an illusion that will only cost you more time, energy and money. But you could be working towards your goals by taking imperfect action and making adjustments towards perfection. You want to focus on the things that is going to help you make sales, and you really have to understand what those things are.
