On the morning of April 9, 2015, 28-year-old single mother Heather Bogle failed to pick up her 5-year-old daughter from school after she left the Sandusky County, Ohio, Whirlpool plant where she worked overnight shift.
The next evening her body would be found in the trunk of her Oldsmobile, Alero.
Her murder began a 2 year long investigation in which the lead detective was accused of tampering with evidence as he pursued three innocent people while the real killer walked free in plain site.
