Danielle van Dam was your typical fun loving sweet 7 year old girl who disappeared from her bedroom during the night of February 1–2, 2002 in the neighborhood of Sabre Springs neighborhood of San Diego, California.
She loved writing and math, was involved in the Daisies (a precursor to the Girl Scouts), and was a dancer, as well as a piano player.
Her poor little innocent body would be discovered on Feb 27th and what would ensue would be a web of lies, a neighbor under scrutiny, parents unfairly persecuted and families torn apart.
