This week our hosts sit down with Luis. He is from Mexico and came to the US as a kid when he was around 3 years old. Luis graduated from high school in a small town south of Houston and then went to Sam Houston State University. He then worked in TDCJ corrections for a few years. Right after he got his US citizenship, he applied and came to GPPD as a new police officer and has been with us for 4 years. He works patrol and is also involved in the Unidos program. In his spare time, he does jiu-jitsu where he has competed a few times, even beating up our host Nate a few times!
