Rob Harris is a session guitarist, who is best know for his work with the band Jamiroquai, and though the band have kept him very funking busy for the last 20 years, his list of credits as a session player range from Robbie Williams to Beverly Knight to Will Young to the Lighthouse Family.
We talk about his upbringing, how he started, and how he’s adapted to an ever changing industry. We also touch on the crazy fact that Rob once didn’t get a gig because he was too experienced!
IMPORTANT APOLOGY - I need to point out that we had some wifi issues, which meant that sometimes Rob’s chat paused, then sped up to catch up with itself. You can still hear all of Rob’s insight, it’s just that some of it sounds like it’s been sped up! I'm really sorry!
