Tom is a trumpet player, arranger, composer, producer and has played with artists like Al Jarreau, Vince Mendoza and Branford Marsalis. He’s also worked with the WDR big band, BBC big band and has played on a number of film soundtracks.
We chatted about Tom's journey into the industry and how he found his instrument. We discussed perfect pitch, how to deal with nerves on a gig and how to commit to performances.
