Acts 1:6-8 and 13:32-52
This Sunday concludes our series during the season of Epiphany, in which we explored God's promise and covenant to Abraham to be a blessing to all peoples, and how that extends to the Church in Acts and today.
At the end of the sermon, Pastor Brit displayed several reflections questions. Since he did not read everything aloud, here they are below.
Questions to consider
- When you think about the call to share the Gospel with your family, your neighbors, your coworkers, or whomever, do you feel equipped to do that?
- What do you think is lacking?
- In what area do you think God is inviting you to grow next?
- Who has God put in your life to foster that area of growth?
Turning to God
- God, have you equipped me to share your Gospel, even if I don’t have the experience or education of others?
- God, what are my weak areas?
- God, in which area are you preparing to grow me next?
- God, who have you put in my life to help me?
- God, I feel alone; will you send me a peer, or a discipler, or someone to disciple?
