Introverts face some unique challenges when it comes to building a coaching business (and really in many areas of our lives ;).
I had no idea just how much being an introvert impacted my confidence and my view of myself until I started my business.
I always thought that being an introvert wasn’t that big of a deal.
Introverts make up an estimated 30-50% of the population so it’s not exactly like we are a huge minority.
But the truth is that we live in an extroverted world.
And many of the characteristics we are led to believe make us likable, successful, popular and happy are often associated with more extroverted qualities.
This can leave us introverts feeling inferior and like we have to change ourselves to achieve what we want in life.
On top of this, we are often taught how to do things (ah hmm…growing our businesses) in ways that works well for extroverts, but leave us feeling energetically and emotionally drained.
This will eventually lead to burnout. And yes, I’m speaking for experience.
When it comes to building a successful business, it is important that we understand the unique challenges that we face as introverts. When we truly understand this, then we can choose marketing and business systems that work for our introverted nature.
That is exactly what I’m sharing with you in this week’s video and podcast.
