Description

Saturday Night Popcorn is back with another episode where we discuss and review the latest movies.

This week, we’re talking about El Conde, a dark comedy horror film by Chilean director Pablo Larraín that reimagines the dictator Augusto Pinochet as a 250-year-old vampire who wants to die. We’ll discuss the film’s satire, symbolism, cinematography, and performances, as well as the historical and political context behind it. We’ll also share our thoughts on whether El Conde is worth streaming or skipping.

Tune in to hear our opinions and join the conversation!

*Spoiler Warning* As a general warning we discuss the film in detail and often will comment on scenes or aspects of the film that could spoil it for a listener who has not seen the film we are discussing.
