The story we have for you this week is a wild one. It’s got fires and murder and prison riots. It’s also got the old Idaho State Penn, which is our most fave subject ever.
Ronald Lee Macik is now 75 years old. He’s been in and out of state institutions since the age of 2 years old. His residence for almost all of his adult life has been the Idaho State Penitentiary and he currently boasts the honor of the only current Idaho prisoner who served time at the old Idaho State Penn. This is the story of Ronald Lee Macik, the instigator of the 1971 prison disaster known as the blood riot.
