Palm Sunday is the first day of Holy Week. This is the week when Jesus went to Jerusalem to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world. On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode in to Jerusalem as a King, but somewhat different than the king we might expect. What kind of King do we really have? Who is this “King” on this donkey? What does he bring. This king brings us the peace for which we long.
