My own thoughts and rituals surrounding pre and post-show rituals, and ways I keep my performance the primary function of my day (spoiler alert:  it's not by doing more things).  

I'll throw out some suggestions for keeping your nervous system nice and tidy- including foods to eat and when to eat them.  And don't forget to bring food with you please!  

Personally, I have one singular non-negotiable pre-show ritual, and I'm pretty neurotic about it.  Whatever rituals you construct for yourself, I hope they are in service of your own capacity to ENJOY YOUR WORK.
