Hope Walker Rossi was first appointed SCGOP Executive Director on February 4, 2016. She has held that position serving under Chairman Matt Moore and now Chairman Drew McKissick. She previously served as State Director for Mike Huckabee for President, RNC/SCGOP State Director (2014), SCGOP Political Director (2013), and SCGOP Member Services Director (2011-2012). Hope is a recipient of the 40 under 40 Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants (2021).
Hope is originally from Irmo, SC and is a 2011 graduate of Newberry College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a double minor in History and Spanish where she was active as Student Body President and Kappa Delta Sorority. Hope has experience in every area of the South Carolina Republican Party, ranging from campaigning and fundraising to event planning, legislative issues and constituent service. In her spare time, you can find Hope volunteering, browsing an estate sale, with her Boykin Strom or out and about with her family and friends. Hope and her husband, Chris, are members of First Baptist Church Columbia.
