When I first immersed myself in recovery, I would hear people talk a lot about the importance of emotional sobriety.
But when I asked people what it was and how to achieve it, I was surprised by the general lack of understanding of what it actually was.
It seemed like one of the terms people tended to repeat, but didn’t have a deep understanding of what it was.
So what is emotional sobriety, why is it important, and how do we achieve it?
