Tina Amoroso, CEO of Real Options, a non-profit organization that supports women facing unplanned pregnancies, discusses her personal experience with unplanned pregnancy at the age of 15. She initially planned to have an abortion, but due to a series of unexpected events, she decided to carry the baby to term and give him up for adoption.
Later, Tina reconnected with her biological son and maintained a close relationship. She feels that God intervened and helped her make the right decision.
Real Options offers various services to women facing unplanned pregnancies, including:
- Pregnancy testing
- Ultrasounds
- Options counseling
- Material support such as maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers and formula
- Adoption referrals
- Rachel's Vineyard, a post-abortion healing program
The organization is always looking for volunteers, including registered nurses, high school and college students, and women interested in helping with their baby boutique. Financial donations are also gratefully accepted.
