Hello and welcome to todays episode.
This episode delves into Shakespeares, "The 7 Ages of Man" and its metaphors for embracing our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours as the players upon the stage of our life.
As this famous monologue explains, we each have 7 ages in which we play our parts; From infancy to old age and everything in between. I discuss how just as we go through these various life stages, so too, does the way we think, feel and respond to the world and ourselves.
Listen now and see which age you most strongly identify with right now, in your own life s stage in terms of your thinking, your beliefs, actions and emotions that play out.
Today's quote comes from another of the Bards famous plays; Hamlet. I encourage you to think about this line in the context of our lives being many parts and how, even as merely players, on the stage of our own life, understanding these ages and our responses to them allow us to better understand who we are capable of becoming.
“We know what we are, but know not what we may be.”
