Jesse Smith is a five-time Olympian, silver medalist, and team captain on the U.S. Men's Water Polo team, making him one of the most accomplished water polo players in the world. After a 20+ year athletic career and playing for professional teams in seven different countries, Jesse has continued to charge forward in life via entrepreneurship, overseeing the Coronado Aquatics Club, and raising five kids. His journey as an entreprenur includes founding Swerl Inc, (connects businesses with Olympians for corporate events) Ketari, (consulting group), and Ecubed.AI (freight logistics technology). In this conversation, we discuss memories from his olympic experiences, the value of relationships, and current projects. Jesse shares his mindset around how he is effectively transitioning from such a long and successful career as an athlete into the corporate world.
