It feels as if we’re constantly seeing headlines of school shootings, we’re constantly wondering how this is still happening, and we’re constantly left feeling as if our children are never going to be safe. So what happened on April 20, 1999 in Littleton, Colorado and why has it become a cultural blueprint for other mass shooters? Why does it stand out?
