Courtney Bruce is the captain for the West Coast Fever and a major force in the Australia Diamonds. The powerhouse defender is rapidly cementing her spot as one of the best goal keepers in the world and after a breakthrough season in 2016, Courtney quickly rose to stardom, earning MVP honours in her first international game.
It was a pleasure speaking with Courtney. She is studying social science and mental health and is passionate about mindfulness. It is super inspiring to hear about how this young athlete who has achieved so much in such a short amount of time stays grounded in the roller coaster ride of being an elite athlete.
