East Forest is a musician, visionary, teacher and trail-blazer in the wellness movement, building bridges between the digital and natural worlds. As a leader in the burgeoning field of “organic tech”, he regularly cross pollinates his work to bring together diverse fields to explore the intersection between technology, nature and the human experience — with a brain-body approach aimed towards secular yet deeply spiritual personal development; a methodology grounded as much in science as in ritual and ceremony. His collaborations include Google neuroaesthetics program, the Esalen Institute, Consciousness Hacking, and Science And Nonduality (SAND) among others, in addition to his weekly podcast series that offers discussions with thought leaders alongside musically guided original meditations. His albums and collaborations have twice charted #1 (iTunes Aug 2016, and May 2019) as well as several Billboard top ten releases.
We both have a deep connection to Ram Dass and Maharaji so that's what we mainly spoke about. I was curious to hear about his collaboration with Ram Dass in which he has been creating exquisite recordings with his music mixed beautifully to teachings of Ram Dass. I placed three of the songs in the podcast but do note due to the podcast formatting that the sound quality isn't as great as other formats. I highly recommend that you get the high quality versions here on band camp.
