Protein is crucial after weight loss surgery and a deficiency of it can cause muscle wastage, fatigue, hair loss and overall lethargy. Sufficient and adequate protein can be difficult, especially in those early phases post-op where protein supplements are highly recommended. However, what is their place after the initial year?
