Day 236 — Rebuilding Begins
📖 Ezra 3
Before the temple was rebuilt, the altar was restored.
Before there were walls, there was worship.
Before there was visible progress, there was obedience.
Before the work was finished, the people praised God.
Ezra 3 reminds us that real rebuilding begins with God.
The people were still surrounded by uncertainty and opposition, but they worshiped anyway. They laid the foundation and praised the Lord because, “He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.”
Maybe something in your life needs rebuilding today.
Your faith.
Your family.
Your priorities.
Your ministry.
Your trust in God.
Don’t begin by trying to fix everything at once.
Come back to the altar. Come back to the Word. Come back to worship. Come back to Christ.
Because when God rebuilds a life, He starts with the heart.
