Day 247 — “The Sun of Righteousness”
Malachi 4
The Old Testament does not end with Israel getting everything right. It ends with a promise.
Malachi points forward to a coming day when God will judge evil, restore His people, and cause the “sun of righteousness” to rise with healing in its wings.
After Malachi, centuries of silence would follow—but God was not inactive. His plan was still moving toward Jesus Christ.
That is a reminder we all need:
God’s silence is not the same thing as God’s inactivity.
The people of God were waiting for the Messiah. We now live on the other side of Bethlehem, Calvary, and the empty tomb. Christ has come, and one day He will come again.
So when life feels dark, remember:
The night will not last forever.
God keeps His promises.
The King is coming.
