DAY 259 — COME AND SEE
📖 John 1:35–51
The first disciples did not begin with all the answers.
They began with an encounter with Jesus.
John pointed to Christ and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.” Andrew met Jesus and immediately went to find his brother Peter. Philip followed Jesus and then went to find Nathanael.
Again and again, the pattern is simple:
Meet Jesus. Follow Jesus. Bring someone else to Jesus.
When Nathanael was skeptical, Philip did not argue with him.
He simply said:
“Come and see.”
That invitation still matters today.
You do not have to know everything to point someone toward Christ. You do not have to win every argument. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply help someone take a closer look at Jesus.
Read His words.
Look at His life.
See His compassion.
Consider His claims.
Look at the cross.
Look at the empty tomb.
And then decide who He is.
Jesus still calls people the same way:
“Follow Me.”
And once you have truly encountered Him, do not keep it to yourself.
Go find someone else.
Come and see. Then follow Him. Then bring someone with you.
