DAY 267 — THE KINGDOM GROWS 🌱
📖 Mark 4
🎙️ The Story of Scripture with Pastor John
Sometimes the hardest part of faithfulness is waiting for something to grow.
You've prayed.
You've shared the gospel.
You've poured into your children.
You've discipled someone.
You've planted the seed of God's Word.
And yet…you don't see anything happening.
Mark 4 reminds us:
Hidden does not mean inactive.
Jesus said the kingdom is like seed scattered on the ground. The farmer sleeps and wakes, night after night, while beneath the surface something is happening that he cannot see or control.
That's kingdom work.
We sow. God gives the growth.
So don't become discouraged because you can't see immediate results.
Keep praying for that child.
Keep reaching that friend.
Keep loving that spouse.
Keep discipling that believer.
Keep sharing Jesus.
Keep teaching God's Word.
Keep sowing.
And don't despise small beginnings.
A mustard seed looks insignificant—until it grows.
One conversation matters.
One prayer matters.
One act of obedience matters.
One gospel seed matters.
You don't have to manufacture the harvest.
You are responsible for faithfulness. God is responsible for the growth.
So keep sowing.
The seed is still powerful.
The King is still sovereign.
God is still working.
And the kingdom is still growing. 🌱
