At Babel, humanity unites—but not for God’s glory.
Driven by pride, people seek to make a name for themselves apart from the Lord. What looks like strength and unity is actually rebellion. God, in His mercy, disrupts their plans—not to destroy them, but to restrain their pride and redirect His purposes.
Pride divides.
But God’s redemptive plan remains unshaken.
Even when humanity tries to rise without Him, God is still working to bring salvation through the nations—not aboveHim.

Where might pride be quietly replacing dependence on God in your life?

Lord, guard our hearts from pride. Teach us to build our lives on You, not on our own strength or name. Amen.
