Day 16 — When God Speaks
After long chapters of silence, God finally speaks in Job 38—but not with explanations. Instead of answering Job’s questions, God reveals Himself.
From the whirlwind, God reminds Job of His unmatched wisdom and power. He speaks of the foundations of the earth, the boundaries of the seas, the command of the dawn, and the order of the stars. God does not explain suffering, but He shows that nothing in creation is outside His care or control.
This moment changes everything. Job’s circumstances have not changed, but his perspective does. Trust begins to grow—not because answers are given, but because God is seen rightly.
Job 38 teaches us that faith is strengthened not when life makes sense, but when God becomes clearer. Seeing God as wise, powerful, and sovereign anchors the heart, even when questions remain.
When God speaks, He may not give answers—but He always gives Himself.
And when we see God clearly, trust becomes possible again.
