Day 32 — Wrestling with God (Genesis 32)
Sometimes God doesn’t change us by making things easier—He changes us by making us wrestle.
In Genesis 32, Jacob meets God in the dark, and he leaves the encounter limping but transformed. His circumstances didn’t instantly improve, but his identity did.
Here’s the reminder for us today:
👉 Struggle doesn’t mean God is absent.
👉 Night seasons don’t mean God is silent.
👉 Wrestling often precedes blessing.
God is less interested in our strength than in our surrender. And sometimes He has to get us alone, slow us down, and touch the very thing we trust most—so we finally cling to Him.
If you’re in a season of tension, questions, or struggle, don’t rush past it. Stay in the fight. Hold on. God may be doing His deepest work right there.
