Day 64 — “Blessed, Not Cursed”
📖 Numbers 23–24
When Balak hired Balaam to curse Israel, he believed words could undo what God had already spoken. But every time Balaam opened his mouth, blessing came out instead of a curse.
Why? Because what God has blessed cannot be overturned by human schemes.
God had made a covenant with His people, and no king, prophet, or enemy could reverse it. Balaam himself had to admit:
“God is not man, that he should lie… Has he said, and will he not do it?” (Numbers 23:19)
This passage reminds us of a powerful truth:
God’s promises are stronger than opposition.
People may criticize.
Circumstances may challenge.
Enemies may plot.
But if God has placed His hand of blessing on something, no one can curse it.
Even more amazing, in Numbers 24 Balaam prophesies about a future King:
“A star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel.” (Numbers 24:17)
Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, God was already declaring the coming Messiah.
🔑 Takeaway:
God’s purposes cannot be stopped by human resistance. What He promises, He fulfills.
If God has spoken blessing over your life, stand firm in faith—because His word will always prevail.
