Prior to his career in country real estate, Alan had a long career in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill, as a diplomat, and as an economist for the World Bank. He is very comfortable working with international buyers and, as one who has made the transition himself, he has a special affinity for buyers wishing to relocate from the city to the country. When not selling real estate, Alan is busy tending his flock on his sheep farm in Rappahannock County. He’s also very active in local organizations committed to preserving the natural beauty, tranquility, and way of life that makes Rappahannock County such a special place to live. Welcome to the podcast, Alan!
