Nyima Marc Olmsted is a senior student and resident teacher of the San Francisco chapter of the Vajrayana Foundation, Last Chance Gonpa. He has been a student of Buddhism since 1974, when Allen Ginsberg taught him sitting practice. He completed three-year retreat under his current teacher, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche, in 1995.
