Onto Chapter 8, "Undesirables." I’m sharing the truth about something we don’t always want to admit. Sometimes we attract people who lie, because deep down, we’re not being completely honest with ourselves either. I learned this lesson through attracting “teachers” with qualities I didn’t want (and dishonesty I didn’t want either), and it wasn’t until I took a closer look at my own patterns that everything really started to shift.
This chapter is centered around real honesty. The kind where you stop pretending to like camping when you don’t, stop agreeing to things that feel wrong, and start speaking up even when it’s uncomfortable. I talk about a few of my own experiences, how I started showing up fully as myself, and why that was the turning point that helped me finally attract someone with real integrity.
Let’s talk about getting honest with ourselves first, so we can attract the kind of love that’s built on truth!
