During the annual World Manufacturing Forum (WMF) in Italy, Emma and Smilla also got the chance to learn more about EIT Manufacturing. As one pillar of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), EIT Manufacturing works with bringing Europe's manufacturers together. In this episode, Klaus Beetz, CEO of EIT Manufacturing explains the vision of EIT Manufacturing and highlights the importance of attracting young talent, not least empowering women who are underrepresented in hierarchical higher positions. Also, Emma and Smilla talk to Carolina Torregrossa Gallo, program manager at EIT Manufacturing, who works with bridging the skill gap that exists among industry workforce. She calls to young talents to start a career in manufacturing industry. Carolina's final words in the episode: "Dream big! What you do can make a difference! You can change the world!".
