In today´s episode, Emma and Smilla meet David Romero, professor in advanced manufacturing at Tecnológico de Monterrey University in Mexico. Together they discuss issues like inclusive initiatives, future challenges for manufacturing, and the upcoming industry 5.0. Professor Romero has worked a lot with the concept of Operator 4.0, which describes the smart and skilled operator who performs cooperative work with robots as well as with machines. Professor Romero´s research is at the forefront of industry´s development, focusing on the human in production.
