What is additive manufacturing? What possibilities does the technology have? What are the benefits? In this episode of the Industry 5.0 Leaders Podcast, we learn about additive manufacturing. Smilla and Emma meet Valeria Tirelli, the CEO of AIDRO, which is an Italian additive manufacturing company focused on metal 3D printing. Tirelli talks about her company, its vision and goals, and the future of manufacturing. In the second part of the episode, we meet the Young Manufacturing Leader, Alessio Fino, who is part of the Milan City Hub. He talks about his study group within YML, that studies the possibilities of additive manufacturing in space.
