In today´s episode, Smilla and Emma meet Andrew Lynch, the Chief Innovation Officer of Irish Manufacturing Reasearch (IMR). IMR is an independent industry-led research and technology organisation, with the goal to demystify, derisk and deliver new emerging technologies and new knowledge to enable industries to succeed within advanced manufacturing. Together with Lynch, Smilla and Emma discuss the importance of including the young generations in the manufacturing sector, and what possible challenges there are. Lynch emphasizes the need of new ways to attract the young people to work with the industry.
