John 15:1-17
The vineyard in scripture is a symbol that represents Israel, who failed to give the world the fruit God intended for them to produce. The life of Jesus reveals that fruitfulness is only possible through a relationship with him through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. This is the only way our life produces fruit that will last for eternity.
