Germans have invaded Alsace! For France this would typically be a 'oh not again' moment if this was modern history. However this is in the final years of the Roman Republic. Caesar is considered a hero and savior to the Gauls for destroying the Helvetti. Now he watches as the Sequani and the Arverni plot to over throw Rome's old ally the Aedui and control Eastern and Central Gaul. To succeed in this plan the two tribes call on German mercenaries from the Suebi tribe across the Rhine under the leadership of Ariovistus.
