Spooky Season is almost over, but we've got one more scary story to talk about this month. The Desolating Sacrilege. The best name for a horror movie that's never been used. It's told three times in three different gospels and we never read any of them. Let's change that today!
You've Never Read This," is a new series from God Knows Where looking at stories in our scriptures that fall through the cracks. In this series, we're looking at a dozen or so stories that never show up in the Revised Common Lectionary used by many mainline Protestant Churches, including the one I used to pastor. Join us as we try to figure why we avoid or ignore these stories and the (surprising) wisdom they have for us.
