Description

Have you ever heard of Dinah? Not the one from "I've Been Working on the Railroad," but the Jacob's daughter, Joseph's sister. Probably not. We ignore her story all the time. And we do so to our own detriment. Her story is difficult to read, but can't ignore it. Reading her story makes so many other stories in Genesis, and the whole Bible for that matter, make more sense. Let's see how.

"You've Never Read This," is a new series from God Knows Where looking at stories in our scriptures that fall through the cracks. In this series, we're looking at a dozen or so stories that never show up in the Revised Common Lectionary used by many mainline Protestant Churches, including the one I used to pastor. Join us as we try to figure why we avoid or ignore these stories and the (surprising) wisdom they have for us.

DON'T FORGET! You can leave us a rating or review wherever you're listening to the show! And tell a friend about God Knows Where too!
