Can you think of something we collectively avoid more than conflict? I can't. Jesus knew we're this way and that's why he responds the way he does in another story we never read, but need to give a second chance. Let's do that today!
"You've Never Read This," is a new series from God Knows Where looking at stories in our scriptures that fall through the cracks. In this series, we're looking at a dozen or so stories that never show up in the Revised Common Lectionary used by many mainline Protestant Churches, including the one I used to pastor. Join us as we try to figure why we avoid or ignore these stories and the (surprising) wisdom they have for us.
