Hebrews 10:35-39 “Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.”
Isaiah 55:11 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
Inhale: God, I am narrowed in and feel trapped in my current circumstance.
Exhale: Help me zoom out, give me reminders of the big picture and how you have been and will continue to be good to me.
Inhale: I am guilty of panicking when things seem “wilted” on the surface.
Exhale: Jesus, help me trust your process. I want to fully trust that you are working, even when I can’t see it.
Inhale: During the “wilting”, I become anxious and rushed, seeking answers and blessing n o w.
Exhale: Your timing is perfect in your processes, Lord. Thank you that your word and purposes NEVER return void. Give me patience.
